Brandon and Jenna's Mom, a spiritual entrepreneur, philanthropist, animal and nature lover, and author with a financial consultant background.  My passion is turning my past experiences and wisdom into a springboard for helping people through my websites, presentations, and books.  I am the founder of Life Talks, Positive Thoughts on Life, and This Is Not Brandon websites. Why I do this:  I am dedicated to making this world a better place by helping people change and recreate their lives after tragedy.  I do this because I know that no one has to suffer and live in lack no matter what their past may have been, how long it may have been, or what your current circumstances are.  It is my own past and experience that drives me to this purpose.  There is no better teacher and no replacement for experience.

What is Passion?

Passion is something you can do all day.  You are addicted to it, you don’t want to stop, you draw energy from it, it makes you feel alive, it is motivating, comforting and you know you are going in the right direction.  Nothing can stop you from pursing this passion.  The worst part about it is that it can become so obsessive that you get little else done.

Why is it Taking so Long to Get What I Want?

It is not because you do not want it enough

It is not because you are not intelligent enough
It is not because you are not worthy enough
It is not because fate is against you
It is not because someone else has already won your prize

The only reason is because you are holding yourself in a vibrational holding pattern that does not match the vibration of your desire. That is the only reason…ever.

The Teachings of Abraham

A Simple Experiment

A Simple Experiment

BLOG by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

There is no greater power in heaven or on earth than pure, unconditional love.  The nature of the God force, the unseen intelligence in all things, which causes the material world and is the center of both the spiritual and physical plane, is best described as pure, unconditional love. This God force is the oversoul to which we are always connected because we are localized extensions of that force.

I suggest you embark on an experiment in which you practice only unconditional love for several days. Vow to yourself that you will only allow unconditional loving thoughts to emanate from your consciousness. Make an intense proclamation to live unconditional love. During this time, refuse to have judgmental or critical thoughts. In your quiet time, think only peace and love. In all of your relationships, think and act in only loving ways. Extend loving thoughts and energy wherever and whenever you encounter anyone or anything. Become unconditional love for this period of time.

By pouring love into your immediate environment and practicing gentleness in all of your thoughts, words, and actions, your immediate circle of friends will begin responding in a whole new way. This act becomes expansive very quickly and you can radiate this love to your whole community. You become detached and loving toward all. You are not loving the hostile acts of others, but you are loving the spirit that is blocked in those who are harmful and unloving. When you can live this way and reject all thoughts and actions that are not of an unconditionally loving nature, you will experience the essence of your spirit and discover how to overcome limitations in your life.

What can you expect as you practice a few days of being total unconditional love? If all of your meditations are devoted to love, and if you pour love into every single situation and every single person you meet, and beyond that to everyone on the planet and to the infinity of the universe, you will feel yourself becoming a different person. You will sleep more soundly. You will feel at peace virtually all of the time. Your relationships will be more deeply spiritual. You will begin recognizing the “coincidences” of your life with greater regularity. Your thought forms of unconditional love will begin to produce what you desire without your even being aware of how it is happening. Your dreams will be more intense, and the vision of your purpose will become clear

You never know where the inspiration will come from:

Yesterday we met a man in a restaurant who told us this story:

Approximately 20 years ago he went through a devastating divorce and lost everything including his daughter, his home, his shop (he restored classic cars), all his money ~ everything.  It was so devastating to him that he drifted into such depression that he ended up living homeless for 3 years on the streets of a big City.  We personally don’t understand how anyone can live homeless, but from a prior homeless man came inspiration and wisdom.

During his time on the streets he was beaten several times, lit on fire one night while he was sleeping, and spent his days looking and begging for food to survive.  One day he heard a quote that turned him around in an instant and he decided he had had enough.  He went to a shelter for people transitioning back into life and did just that.

Today he has a new shop restoring classic cars, is re-married and owns a home, has an expensive car (we saw it), a part-time job working in aerospace, and visits his daughter regularly in Hawaii!  He and his wife were enjoying fine food as was evident last night and he paid for it with a credit card!  What a difference from being homeless.

His advice:  “Never give up or give in” he said.  “Living life is so much easier and so much better than giving up.”  “Working for a living is easier than living homeless or living on welfare.”  “Living homeless was actually hard work!”  “Today, Life is good!”

On life’s journey
Faith is nourishment,
Virtuous deeds are a shelter,
Wisdom is the light by day and
Right mindfulness is the protection by night.
If a man lives a pure life nothing can destroy him;
If he has conquered greed nothing can limit his freedom. Buddha

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.
