CONTROL YOUR THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS

Even though you may not think you have control over your emotions or thoughts, you are the one who controls them because they are your thoughts and emotions. Or you can allow them to take over your body.

Change your perception of the thoughts and what you are feeling. Find meaning behind what you are thinking or feeling. Replace what you are thinking or feeling with a positive reason or outcome from what is happening.

In the end, they are your thoughts and emotions and you need to control them

This has a lot to do with attitude. If you think you can, you will be in control of your thoughts, emotions and actions.

AT THE END OF YOUR LIFE

Imagine getting to the end of your life. What thoughts would you have?  In a recent article from people who were at the end of their lives, they shared their regrets.  So, what were they?

That they didn’t go after their dreams

That they didn’t love

That they didn’t forgive

And I would add to that

That they didn’t live the way they wanted

We put our dreams on hold because of the routines and responsibilities of life.

We don’t go after the love we want because we fear rejection or a broken heart.

We don’t forgive because it’s easier to ignore.  Sometimes to forgive is hard, especially when the wrong is extreme.

And we don’t live the life we want because we’re afraid or simply don’t make the effort.

And so, at the end of our life, we regret.

It’s never too late to change any of these.

Here are some things to start with…

Open up to opportunity

Say no to things you don’t want to do and don’t have to do

Pay attention to your intuition…intuition is clairvoyant

Don’t wait to do what you want

Don’t spend time in any situation you are unhappy

Say “I love you” more

Don’t let negative emotions make your decisions

You know what your want…go after it

And did I mention…Don’t wait…

THE BEST EDUCATION IS EXPERIENCE

Don’t be afraid to try new experiences. Experience is a great teacher. Experiences shape you.  Nothing can equal the insight and knowledge that comes from experience. There is a profoundly deep understanding derived from being there and directly involved in the fray that no amount of education or study can match.  Many times, what is perceived as a negative experience is the catalyst that allows people to change and grow.

ATTITUDE CHANGES EVERYTHING

There are two things I know for sure about attitude.  One is that it is a choice.  Perhaps we may not realize that the way we think is by choice, but it is.  Whether it is inherited as we were growing up or from life experiences, attitude is a choice. It is also a choice to change it.

The second thing I know for sure about attitude is that it will make your life heaven or hell on earth.  Whether it’s a person who is surrounded by a negative aura and consistently thinks negatively, or a person who is open and positive, we become what we think…about ourselves, our life, our future, everything.

I wish more people understood the power of attitude and how it determines our life.  I also wish more people knew that they can change anything about their attitude if it is not serving their best interest.

The best way to start is to turn around all negative thoughts into positive ones…whether you believe them or not.  Keep doing this and watch the magic unfold.  I promise you this really works…you just have to keep doing it until it becomes a habit.

WITH THE RIGHT ATTITUDE…

I’ve learned that with the right attitude we see more opportunity, more hope, more good, more miracles, more truth and more blue skies.  We feel more happiness, more love, more kindness, more empathy, more passion and more wonderful about everything.  We have more faith, more understanding, more chance, more self-esteem, more character, more inspiration, more dreams, and more tomorrows.  We know that life has only one direction, we know there are no mistakes…only lessons and destiny, we know to make and follow our own rules sometimes, we know not to be apologetic for beating a different drum, we know that people make a difference so to treat them well, we know that attitude is success and success is attitude, and we know that the most wonderful things come from doing what we almost didn’t do.  We relax in the comfort of the River and what resonates with us, that patience is an answer, that nature has all the answers and that family is our most important treasure.  We say yes to life, get to know ourselves, follow our heart, are gentle with ourselves, and are grateful for the small things.  We are resilient survivors, control our emotions, know that endings are beginnings, that there are reasons for the detours, and try again because the next key could be the one.  Mostly we know that whatever life hands us, we are in charge of it now and it’s up to us.  Attitude can do all of this for you and we are absolutely, perfectly in control of our attitude and thus our destiny and our life.
