Brandon and Jenna's Mom, a spiritual entrepreneur, philanthropist, animal and nature lover, and author with a financial consultant background. My passion is turning my past experiences and wisdom into a springboard for helping people through my websites, presentations, and books. I am the founder of Life Talks, Positive Thoughts on Life, and This Is Not Brandon websites.
Why I do this: I am dedicated to making this world a better place by helping people change and recreate their lives after tragedy. I do this because I know that no one has to suffer and live in lack no matter what their past may have been, how long it may have been, or what your current circumstances are. It is my own past and experience that drives me to this purpose. There is no better teacher and no replacement for experience.
”There is no such thing as a grey sky. The sky is always blue. Sometimes grey clouds come and cover the blue sky and we think the sky is grey. But there has never been a storm that hasn’t past. Grey clouds never last forever, but the blue sky does.
Sometimes we get stuck in the memories of the past, remunerating over and over again “why”? Holding onto the past will surely stagnate your future. Good or bad it’s over and you have to let go.
“The past is over, it can touch me not” A Course in Miracles
“The distinction between the past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion” Albert Einstein
How often do we truly pause to appreciate the life we have? Today is that day. After looking at the enormous devastation in Japan and the worst disaster in decades, it is so appropriate for us to refocus and be grateful for the blessings we have.
Today I’m humbly grateful for all the people and family in my life, for the comfort of my home, my health, my pets, and the ability to earn an income. I’m grateful for the sunshine and nature all around me. I’m even grateful for all the disappointments that have deepened my purpose, enriched my soul and directed my path. I’m grateful that my mind allows me to grow and learn and embrace the best of attitude ~ with love instead of hate. I’m grateful for this computer so I can share with others what gives my heart a sense of meaning. And I’m grateful for the ability to enjoy it all again tomorrow. If disaster teaches us anything, it teaches us to be grateful for what we have and to enjoy life today. Japan will rebuild just like we did after 2001. I hope we can all find a way to help.
Today be grateful, help others, give your love and enjoy life and have a beautiful day.
