Brandon and Jenna's Mom, a spiritual entrepreneur, philanthropist, animal and nature lover, and author with a financial consultant background.  My passion is turning my past experiences and wisdom into a springboard for helping people through my websites, presentations, and books.  I am the founder of Life Talks, Positive Thoughts on Life, and This Is Not Brandon websites. Why I do this:  I am dedicated to making this world a better place by helping people change and recreate their lives after tragedy.  I do this because I know that no one has to suffer and live in lack no matter what their past may have been, how long it may have been, or what your current circumstances are.  It is my own past and experience that drives me to this purpose.  There is no better teacher and no replacement for experience.

Never Sacrifice True Love

Never sacrifice true love for any reason.  Sometimes people take advantage of love they feel they “have” thinking they can put it in the background for awhile in the selfish pursuit of meaningless pleasures.  Sometimes people abuse, use, or neglect this love.  But love is fragile and cannot always withstand such betrayal.  Love, like anything worthwhile, needs to be nourished, appreciated, valued and loved in return.  It should be cherished for its genuine beauty.  Thus the risk of losing something as precious as true love, especially at the cost of what is trivial, fleeting, or shallow is far too great. And if you do take advantage of true love, you may find when you come back that this love is gone…

Power of Patience

When we practice patience, we come more into alignment with the natural rhythms of life…we stop pushing for life to be different.  Winter takes as long as it takes…it is the ideal time to prepare for what is coming even though we don’t know what it is yet.

M. J. Ryan, The Power of Patience

Miracles Happen

“The fact that we cannot understand how miracles work does not mean that miracles don’t happen.  A radically new life today is exactly what is available to us, and courage lies in claiming it”  Marianne Williamson, Everyday Grace

Choice

The thing about choice is that one choice at the right time can change your life for the better forever.  No matter your current circumstances, people can walk out of their history and leave yesterday behind.

You are in charge of this choice and you owe it to yourself to access it.  There is new life, new love, new opportunity, new experiences, and fulfillment…the possibilities are endless.  Even in times of heartbreak and the storms of life, there is always tomorrow and tomorrow is only limited by your mind or by holding on to what has died.

You are only one choice away from changing your life into that dream you have always wanted. Why not now?

Dream…but take Action

The ironic thing about wisdom is that you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something…your intuition, destiny, life, karma, whatever. But It’s best to trust in yourself…and what your heart knows.

Your work is going to fill your own personal purpose and be aligned with your own passion. The only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe in, what motivates your path. And the only way to fulfill what you believe in is to love what you do and do what you love.  If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking…the answer will come.

Our time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s idea of life. Don’t be trapped too much by responsibilities or shoulds…they will inhibit your talents. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and your intuition.  Stay open, stay passionate, stay focused, stay committed…and dream but take action.

The 90/10 Principle

Life is 10% what happens and 90% how we react to it.

Absolutely everything we do, give, say, or think is like a boomerang.  It will come back to us.  If we want to receive, we need to learn to give first.  Even if we end with our hands empty, our heart will be filled with love.  And those who love life have that feeling marked in their hearts.

Hoping you make this a wonderful day, remember, at least 90% of it is up to you!
