Choice

The thing about choice is that one choice at the right time can change your life for the better forever.  No matter your current circumstances, people can walk out of their history and leave yesterday behind.

You are in charge of this choice and you owe it to yourself to access it.  There is new life, new love, new opportunity, new experiences, and fulfillment…the possibilities are endless.  Even in times of heartbreak and the storms of life, there is always tomorrow and tomorrow is only limited by your mind or by holding on to what has died.

You are only one choice away from changing your life into that dream you have always wanted. Why not now?

Dream…but take Action

The ironic thing about wisdom is that you can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something…your intuition, destiny, life, karma, whatever. But It’s best to trust in yourself…and what your heart knows.

Your work is going to fill your own personal purpose and be aligned with your own passion. The only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe in, what motivates your path. And the only way to fulfill what you believe in is to love what you do and do what you love.  If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking…the answer will come.

Our time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s idea of life. Don’t be trapped too much by responsibilities or shoulds…they will inhibit your talents. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most importantly, have the courage to follow your heart and your intuition.  Stay open, stay passionate, stay focused, stay committed…and dream but take action.

The 90/10 Principle

Life is 10% what happens and 90% how we react to it.

Absolutely everything we do, give, say, or think is like a boomerang.  It will come back to us.  If we want to receive, we need to learn to give first.  Even if we end with our hands empty, our heart will be filled with love.  And those who love life have that feeling marked in their hearts.

Hoping you make this a wonderful day, remember, at least 90% of it is up to you!

18 Simple Truths and 10 Life Laws

You are a Great Person

“If you are a great person and you go out on a date with someone who doesn’t want to see you again, you are still a great person the next day”  Unknown

Life Itself is Risky

“Life itself is risky.  If I put up fences to keep out risk, I will also keep life out.  I will not forego the next ten minutes of happiness on the premise that in eleven minutes there may be pain” Unknown

Believe you Deserve it

“You’ll never get something in your life unless you believe you deserve it.  You have to believe and fall in love with yourself.  Believe in yourself, your worth, your value”  Dr.  Phil

Allow Life to Happen

“Allow life to happen. Accept reality and the natural order and destiny of things…that there is a reason you don’t fully understand yet. Sometimes the strangest and most painful things work out for the best. All will be well, better than you think.”

“Set goals:  In setting goals you cause things to happen and change. You accomplish projects, meet people, find yourself, change, go to interesting places, problems get solved, needs and wants get met and dreams come true. You go in the right direction. Goals give directions and purpose. If things don’t go as planned, that is where acceptance, trust, faith, and letting go come in. Goals set into motion a powerful psychological, spiritual, and emotional force. You do what you need to do, things begin to happen and things begin to come to us.”

“In setting goals, be patient and trust in God’s timing. Don’t take a goal off your list just because it hasn’t happened yet. Sometimes it takes years. It just hasn’t happened yet. Things happen when the time is right…when you’re ready, when God is ready, when the world is ready. Give up, let go, but keep the goal on your list.”
